The Swaffield name

Tom built it. Troy kept it going.

The slogan from the old Swaffield truck banner.

A business built from the ground up.

Tom Swaffield built this business from the ground up in the townships around Alliston. Troy Giesler worked alongside him for years, and when Tom retired at the end of 2025, Troy took it over and kept the Swaffield name on the trucks.

  1. Since 1991

“We have been using Swaffield every 4 or 5 years since we built our home in 1991.”

    Richard de Faria

  2. More than 20 years

“I have been a client for more than 20 years and have always been happy with the service and expertise provided.”

    Tracy Duffy

  3. The Tom years

“As we were arriving home, there was Tom pulling in the driveway at the same time we were to make sure that we could get our septic running before the weekend ended.”

    Amanda Holt, 2023

  4. December 18, 2025

“I've worked with Tom for many years and have seen how he built this business from the ground up. We will continue operating under the Swaffield Septic Service name, providing the same reliable, professional service customers trust.

Congratulations to Tom and Lone on their retirement, and thank you for everything you've built.”

    Troy Giesler, announcing the takeover

  5. 2026

“We would highly recommend Troy and congratulate him on keeping up the tradition of this fine company as the new owner.”

    Jurgen Schneider

The truck stays up on the drive. The hose does the walking.

"The other had a deck built over top, leaving barely enough room to crawl underneath and get the job done."

Remember... a well maintained septic system can run for decades. An abused or neglected one can fail tomorrow.
